1 John 5

¹Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the one who gives birth, loves the one who is born of him. ²In this way we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and we keep his commandments. ³For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. ⁴Because everything that is born of God conquers the world, and this is the victory which conquers the world, our faith! ⁵Who is the one who conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

⁶This is the one who comes by water and blood, Jesus Christ. Not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷Because there are three that give testimony, ⁸the Spirit, the water and the blood and these three are one. ⁹If we receive the testimony of people, God's testimony is greater, because this is God's testimony that he gave concerning his Son. ¹⁰The one who beliees in the Son of God has the testimony in him. The one who does not believe God makes him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony which God gave concerning his Son. ¹¹And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal live, and this life is in hi Son. ¹²The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

¹³I write these things to you, to those who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you might know that you have eternal life. ¹⁴And this is the boldness we have before him, that if we ask according to his will, he hears us. ¹⁵And if we know that he hears whatever we ask, we know taht we have the things that we asked from him.

¹⁶If anyone sees his brotehr committing a sing that is not a sin to death, he should ask, and God will give the brother life, that is to those who are sinning, but not to death. There is a sin that leads to death, and it's not about that sin I'm telling you to ask. ¹⁷Every unrighteous deed is sin, but there is a sin that does not lead to death.

¹⁸We know taht everyone who has been born of God doesn't continue to sin, but the one who has been born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. ¹⁹We know taht we are from God, but the whole world lies in evil. ²⁰But we know that the the Son o fGod has come, and has given us understanding so that we might know the truth, and we are in the truth, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. ²¹Children, keep yourselves from idols.
