Psalms 26

¹(Of David)

Judge me, YHWH, for I have lived perfectly.
I have trusted in YHWH and I have not wavered.
²Search me YHWH and test me.
Refine my mind and heart.
³For your grace is before my eyes,
so I will continue to live in your faithfulness.
⁴I have not sat with empty people,
And I don't go along with schemers.
⁵I hate the assembly of the wicked,
and I don't sit down with evil people.
⁶I wash my hands in innocence,
and I go around your altar, YHWH.
⁷To sing a thanksgiving song,
and to recount all your wonderful deeds.
⁸YHWH, I love your house,
the sanctuary where your glory is.
⁹Don't gather up my soul with that of sinners,
nor my life with men who are bloodguilty.
¹⁰They have evil plans in their hands,
And their right hands are full of bribes.
¹¹But I will continue to walk in my perfection,
Ransom me, and show me grace.
¹²My foot is standing on level ground,
I will bless the Lord in the large assembly.
