Psalms 26

1(Of David)

Judge me, YHWH, for I have lived perfectly.
I have trusted in YHWH and I have not wavered.
2Search me YHWH and test me.
Refine my mind and heart.
3For your grace is before my eyes,
so I will continue to live in your faithfulness.
4I have not sat with empty people,
And I don't go along with schemers.
5I hate the assembly of the wicked,
and I don't sit down with evil people.
6I wash my hands in innocence,
and I go around your altar, YHWH.
7To sing a thanksgiving song,
and to recount all your wonderful deeds.
8YHWH, I love your house,
the sanctuary where your glory is.
9Don't gather up my soul with that of sinners,
nor my life with men who are bloodguilty.
10They have evil plans in their hands,
And their right hands are full of bribes.
11But I will continue to walk in my perfection,
Ransom me, and show me grace.
12My foot is standing on level ground,
I will bless the Lord in the large assembly.
