Revelation 13

¹And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems and on his heads were blasphemous names. ²And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like a bear's, and his mouth was like a lion's mouth. And the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and his great authority. ³And one of his heads was in a state like it had been mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed. And All the world was marvelling after the beast. ⁴And they worshipped the dragon, because he gave authority to teh beast, and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to go to war with him?" ⁵And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy and he was given authority to act for 42 months. ⁶And he opened his mouth in blasphemy before God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle which are in heaven. ⁷And authority was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and he was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. ⁸And all those who live on the earth worshipped him, that is, those whose names are not written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

⁹If anyone has ears, let him hear!

¹⁰If anyone is going into captivity,
Let him go into captivity.
If anyone is to be slain by the sword,
Let him be slain by the sword.
Here is the patience and faithfulness of the saints. ¹¹And I saw another beast rising up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. ¹²And he exercises all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and he makes the earth and those who live in it worship the first beast, who had a mortal wound, but was healed. ¹³And he performs great signs, so that he makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth before men, ¹⁴and he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which he was given the pwoer to perform on behalf of the beast, saying to those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast which had the wound of a sword and yet lived. ¹⁵And power was granted to him to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might speak, and so that whoever didn't worship the image of the beast should be killed. ¹⁶And he makes everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave receive a mark on their right hand and on their forehead. ¹⁷And nobody is allowed to buy or sell except those who have the mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name. ¹⁸Here is wisdom. Let the one who has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a human being, and his number is 666.
