Revelation 4

¹After these things I looked, and there was a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, the one that was like a trumpet, spoke to me and said, "Come up here, and I will show you things that much happen after these things." ²Immediately I was in the spirit, and there was a throne in heaven, and on the throne there was a person sitting. ³And the one who was sitting there was like the appearance of jasper stone and carnelian, and there was a rainbow around the throne that looked like emerald. ⁴And around the throne there were 24 thrones, and on those thrones were 24 elders sitting, dressed in white clothes, and on their heads were golden crowns. ⁵And there were lightning bolts and voices and peals of thunder coming out of the throne, and there were seven fiery lamps burning before the throne. These are the seven spirits of God. ⁶And in front of the throne was something like a sea made of glass, like crystal.

And in the midst of the throne and around it were four living creatures filled with eyes in front and behind. ⁷And the first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. ⁸And the four living creatures each had six wings, filled with eyes all around and inside, and they never rest day or night saying,

Holy, holy, holy
Lord God the all-powerful

The one who was, and is, and will come. ⁹And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is sitting on the through, to the one who lives forever and ever, ¹⁰The 24 elders fall before the one who sits on the throne and they worship the one who lives forever and ever and they throw their crowns before the throne, saying,
¹¹You are worthy, Our Lord and our God,
To receive glory and honor and power
because you created everything
and because of your will they exist and were created.
