Revelation 6

1Now I looked when the lamb opened the first of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice that was like thunder, "Come!"

1st Seal

2And I looked, and there was a white horse, and the one who was sitting on him had a bow, and he was giving a crown, and he came for conquering and setting out to conquer.

2nd Seal

3And when he opened the second seal, I head the second living creature saying, "Come!" 4And another horse went out, and this one was red, and authority was given to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, so that people would kill one another, and he was given a very large sword.

3rd Seal

5And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" And I looked, and there was a black horse, and the one who sat on him had a balance in his hand. 6And I heard something that was like a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying, "A measure of wheat for a denarius and three measures of barley for a denarius, yet do not hurt the oil and the wine."

4th Seal

7And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" 8And I saw a pale horse, and the one who sat on him was named "Death" and Hades followed along with him, and authority was given to them over the fourth part of the earth to kill with the sword and with famine and with plague, and by means of the beasts of the earth.

5th Seal

9And when he opened the firth seal, I saw under the souls of those who had been killed because of the word of God and because of the testimony that they had. 10And they creid out with a loud voice, saying, "How long, Holy and true Lord, do you not avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?" 11And they were each given a white robe, and they were told to rest for a little while longer, until their fellow-slaves and their brethren were finished, those who were to be killed as they had been.

6th Seal

12And I looked when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, and the whole moon became like blood. 13And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts her late figs when shaken by a strong wind. 14And heaven was rolled back wike a scroll being unrolled, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15And the kings of the earth and the great people, and the commanders, and the rich and the strong and every slave and every freeman hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains. 16And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of the one who is sitting on the throne and from the fury of the lamb. 17"Because the great day of his fury has come, but who will be able to stand?"
