I can certainly see how it (and things like it) have become more important than chat rooms for example….
I’ve been on twitter for a couple of weeks now, and I find that it’s very hard for me to do. I simply don’t think in the short form that’s required. Nonetheless, it appears to be a good way to build traffic, and also has high potential for building one’s network and getting (also sharing)…
They will, according to the New York Times and many other sources. It’s a form of advertising that they’re testing, designed to build revenue. At some point Twitter was going to have to do something like this. It was just a matter of time. I’ll be interested to see how well it works for advertisers…
