New Header – Memorial to my Father

Two years ago this month my father passed away at age 86 after a full and interesting life.

He was an amateur radio operator starting in his teens, and he passed that on to his family.  I am without equipment at the moment, but I do get on the air via my brother’s echolink (N3AU-R), and I inherited my dad’s call sign.  It took this long since I had to find the time to upgrade to Amateur Extra.

So now I’m KT4B instead of KE0OY, and I decided to celebrate that in the header to this blog for awhile.

Other hams in the family include my mother Myrtle Neufeld (WB7OIU), Robert (N3AU), and Betty (KC2TZO).

  1. Hi Henry KT4B
    Very Nice. Is that a non-functional radio? If so send it to me and I will fix it.

  2. Hi Henry,

    Very nice. I am at work, but taking a short break.

    Congratulations on your new [old] call sign.

    Didn’t Betty do well??

    Love,

    Patty

  3. Robert – no, that was my favorite radio until I sold it when I needed the money.

    Patty – yes, I’m excited that Betty got her license. I’m expecting her to beat my percentage when she takes the extra class exam.

  4. Hello Henry;

    I am trying to make contact with your brother Robert, N3AU. I wonder if you could either provide me with his email address or ask him to drop me a note?

    Thanks,

    Ramesh, VA3UV
