As a result of this post, I’ve installed the Opera browser on my Ubuntu Linux machine (Feisty Fawn). I’ll post more on it later, but for now I am impressed with speed and ease of use. If it’s good enough, you may see an Opera button appear on the left sidebar.
If sound is muted for YouTube videos in Chrome, you may need to Allow sound. In some cases, it may have been added to the list of blocked sites. In my case, sound didn’t work, but it was on neither list. I added it to the “Allowed” list (using [*].youtube.com, and it works.

Choosing an e-mail client is a pain, because if you make the wrong choice, it’s often a nightmare to export your files and accounts and then import them into a new account. Thus reviews such as this comparison of five cross-platform clients on nixCraft are very valuable.
Note to self: Always remember that your Adobe Creative Suite apps work together. Don’t do it all in Photoshop when you like InDesign better for layout and can then edit graphics with Photoshop in the layout. Or overlays for video in Premiere Pro.
