I Usually Forget to Update Twitter
. . . but it looks like it’s becoming more and more important. According to this MSNBC.com story, it has become much more of a factor in the way people communicate generally and about the election. I can certainly see how it (and things like it) have become more important than chat rooms for example.
It’s likely that limited forums will become much less of a factor, blogs will probably back off, though they aren’t going away, and rapid ways of communicating in public will become more popular.
I’m watching the integration improve, and that is the key, in my view. The best integrated social and/or business networking site is likely to be a winner, provided they can communicate that effectively. And if a web business can’t communicate effectively, what good is it?
I’ll have to work on my delinquency in Twitter updates. You’ll likely see this, because it will be sent there automatically–integration, what a concept!
