The story in retailing these days is struggling to compete with Amazon.com. Groceries have been largely exempt. But now the online giant is coming for your grocery business and local grocery stores have to fight back.
One option, which brick-and-mortar retailers have been slow to develop and embrace, is to use modern technology to make the in-store shopping experience more enjoyable.
It looks like Kroger and Microsoft are working on it. The test stores are too far away for me, but it sounds like there are possibilities.
