Update Your Devices

It’s a bit popular to wait on updates due to the fact that some updates bring problems with them. I tend to wait a day or two so that the worst bugs can be found before I submit myself to the suffering.

But waiting a significant period of time, or just ignoring updates, is very dangerous, as you can read from this post from SmarterMSP.com. The Equifax data breach is quite famous, and had a great deal of potential to cause damage due to the nature of the information leak. One person didn’t do his job and update some software.

So don’t leave those updates to gather dust.
